El Faro de Oriente. Arte y trabajo colectivo
septiembre 27, 2007
Murales exteriores.
Al interior del faro.

Del taller de Grabado y Serigrafía.
Un túnel fantástico y cruel:
La entrada a la biblioteca:
Acá surgió también la revista Iztapalabra.

Mijael, magnificent photos. Thank you for sending the link. I wished the officials would recognize much more the potential of public/street art in order to give the kids a chance to prove their talents and imagination, giving them a chance to even learn more about their capabilities and improve their skills. This might even lead to jobs later on.
At least it is a wonderful means to channel the energies instead of ending up in gang activities.
Projects of this kind have shown that there is a major improvement in communities which are «punished» by lack of support simply because colour and images can change a tiny bit in everyday day life without any perspective and hopes.
This also shows beautifully what can be achieved with trash materials and an imaginative brain. You don’t need an awful lot of money for producing art!
